After months of delays, the new GoAnimate video maker is finally releasing on September 9th,
You can now choose what version of our video maker you'd like to use, be it 2010, 2013 or the current one
Exporting and Importing will fully be re-enabled on September 9th, We at GoAnimate sincerely thank you for your patience while we worked to make this update happen
We’re thrilled to announce that our site revamp is complete! There were a lot of changes, so we want to walk you through everything so you don’t get lost. Retiring GoPlus
As GoAnimate became a completely free site in June last year, GoPlus subscriptions will no longer be renewable. Beginning February 12th, if you have an active subscription, you will be converted into a free account at the next renewal point or on June 1st, 2023, whichever comes first. You will not lose any themes (except for Business Friendly, Whiteboard Animation and Video Infographics.) when you are switched over
In an effort to make room for newer assets that we know will serve more of our customers better, we are beginning to retire the Business Friendly, Whiteboard Animation and Video Infographics themes. We found that few customers were using them, and we wanted to focus our attention on things that our customers would use. New users will not have access to them, and the users who do have them will gradually start to lose them. When your GoPlus subscription expires and you are welcomed into the all-new all-free Go!Animate. you will no longer have access to those themes. Free users who signed up after we went free in 2019 will have the business themes removed on a by user basis. These themes will be completely removed on June 1st
Since they will soon be retired, you won’t be able to make edits to old videos after this has happened – but we encourage you to check out others to tell your story. For those that liked the actions in Business Friendly, you might especially enjoy the multitude of actions available in our signature Lil Peepz family (Lil Peepz, Lil Petz, Space Peepz, Chibi Peepz,)

Firstly the website is receiving yet ANOTHER overhaul! This time It is going old school again! But we are adding some new features

Q: Why are we making these changes?
A: The main priority of Go!Animate is to provide a outlet for people to express their creativity. It’s why we created the platform in the first place. We have been making several changes over the last few years! and this is the final phase
Q: So what are the changes exactly?
A: Retiring certain themes
All of the business-related themes will be retired. With this change, we’ve had to make some tough calls. We’re passionate about all the themes released on Go!Animate over the years, but some of those do not fit our current business strategy. We’re sad to see them go but will have to bid farewell to Modern World, Whiteboard Animation and others.
More templates and assets
Based on feedback from our customers we’ve also provided additional great templates, characters, props, and actions for our three most popular themes: Comedy World, Lil Peepz and Lil Petz World.
Return of downloads
As you know, We had to disable downloading MP4s in late 2019 while we prepared for Phase 1 of these changes, Now that the changes are finally completing, We are proud to say that downloading will return on October 31st.
Q: What do customers need to do to prepare?
A: Not too much. This switch will not impact the ability for users to edit videos made with retired themes. So even if one of your videos was made entirely in a theme that has since been retired — you can still edit and save those videos. As long as an asset is already in the video, it will be editable. So, for example, if a character from a retired theme is in your video, it will be editable. Users can access the settings panel of the character to switch actions and make other tweaks.

We want GA's features to be free for all users, and that means closing this site down. If you want to support Go!Animate then you can donate to us instead
You can continue to use the platform until August 1, 2022, Your existing subscription will last until it naturally expires or August 1 2022, whichever comes first. If there is any time left on your subscription after August 1 2022, you will receive a refund for the unused portion of your subscription.
Go!Anifire users can migrate to Go!Animate and we're making it easy
Just download your Go!Anifire videos and import them into Go!Animate
Then copy your characters into the Character Creator,
